StartSpace offers two types of membership to help you at the start of your business journey:

StartSpace membership (free) or StartSpace Loft membership (paid).

  • Victorian resident
  • Age 18+
  • Working on a lawful, early stage business or startup idea

About StartSpace Membership (free)

As a StartSpace member, you’ll get access to:

  • the ground floor StartSpace coworking area, featuring access to desks, monitors, free wi-fi, whiteboards and a workshop space.
  • work from the space from 10am-6pm, 7 days per week.
  • an exclusive bookable meeting room set up with a screen and teleconferencing facilities.
  • free programming including community and public events, workshops, mentoring, networking and scholarship opportunities.
  • work amongst and get to know other StartSpace members also working in new businesses and startups

StartSpace is an open and inclusive community of founders. We encourage and welcome all new and early stage founders across age ranges, cultural and linguistic backgrounds, genders and educational backgrounds.

StartSpace Loft membership

If you’re a little further along in your business journey, a StartSpace Loft membership might be right for you.

StartSpace Loft membership is a paid per month membership. Please contact the StartSpace team to discuss further on [email protected].

You will need to include some basic contact details and some high-level information about the business idea or startup you are working on.

Please note:

StartSpace can accommodate up to 4 team members per business.

Each team member or co-founder needs to submit separate applications.

When you apply, we aim to respond as soon as we can (please note it can take up to 2 weeks in peak times).

If your application is accepted, we’ll invite you to book onto an induction session at a time that suits you. We hope to hear from you!
