Choose from StartSpace or StartSpace Loft membership.

StartSpace membership is free

As a StartSpace member, you’ll get:

  • exclusive access to the ground floor StartSpace coworking area, which seats 125 members and is fitted out with desks, monitors, wi-fi, whiteboards and workshop space
  • up to 56 hours of access per week
  • access to an exclusive room for meetings and client pitches, set up with a screen and teleconferencing facilities
  • access to StartSpace programming including training, workshops, mentoring, networking and community events
  • the opportunity to work alongside and get to know other StartSpace members at the same stage in their journey as you.

Membership criteria

  • Victorian resident
  • Over 18
  • Working on a lawful, early stage business or startup idea

StartSpace only hosts very small teams (up to 4 people from the same team) and aims for member diversity across age ranges, cultural and linguistic backgrounds, genders and educational backgrounds.

Please note that each team member looking to join StartSpace would need to submit an application separately.

StartSpace Loft membership

If you’re a little further along in your business journey, a StartSpace Loft membership might be right for you.

StartSpace Loft membership is a paid per month membership. Please contact the StartSpace team to discuss further on [email protected].

StartSpace Loft Membership gives you:

exclusive access to the StartSpace Loft coworking area that seats up to 48 members and is fitted out with desks, monitors, wi-fi, whiteboards and workshop space

day lockers to secure your belongings

access to two soundproof booths for private calls and teleconferencing

access to printing and scanning facilities

access to a kitchenette equipped with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, crockery and coffee machine

up to 71 hours of access per week (extended early access on weekdays)

access to StartSpace programming, which includes training, workshops, mentoring, networking and community events

access to the StartSpace Loft boardroom, set up with a screen and teleconferencing facilities

the opportunity to get to know other StartSpace Loft members and StartSpace Partners from the business and corporate community.

a seat at all times: because membership is capped at 48 residents, there will always be space available for StartSpace Loft members

Both types of membership are for an initial six months, with quarterly check-ins to evaluate your progress.
