How to enter

All people who are registered for the Future Founders Festival 2024 and who complete the Future Founders Festival 2024 Feedback Survey go into the draw for a chance to win one $100 Prezzee eGift Card voucher.

Only one entry per person is allowed.

Conditions of entry

This competition is an initiative of StartSpace powered by State Library Victoria, 328 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Vic, 3000 (‘Library’).

Entry into the competition means you accept these terms and conditions.

To enter, you must have completed and submitted the Future Founders Festival 2024 Feedback Survey before the closing date of 11:59pm Monday 25 November 2024 AEST.

To enter and be awarded the prize, entrants must be registered as an event attendee for the Study Melbourne Future Founders Festival 2024, by filling in the event registration form on Eventbrite.

Employees of the Library, and Study Melbourne and their agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered.

No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of prizes.

No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.

All entries become the property of the Library.
Any personal information entrants provide will be treated as confidential and managed in accordance with the Library’s Privacy policy.

The Library reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Dates
The competition commences on Friday 22 November 2024 at 10:00 am AEST.

Entries close on Monday 25 November 2024 at 11:59 pm AEST.

Prize draw and notification

The prize will be drawn as a game of chance at State Library Victoria on Tuesday 26 November 2024.

The winner will be notified by email. If, despite reasonable efforts by the Library, a potential prize winner does not respond to the Library within 21 days of the date of notification, the prize(s) will be forfeited, and the Library reserves the right to select a new winner.

If a winner cannot be contacted due to providing incorrect details, the Library reserves the right to select a new winner.

Prize

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

This total prize is valued up to: AUD$100.00.

*The Library has no direct control over Prezzee gift cards and the inclusion of that link in these terms does not constitute an endorsement or a recommendation of that site. It is the user’s responsibility to make decisions about visiting linked external sites, and the suitability for any purpose of information contained in such sites.

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

The gift card prize is subject to the terms and conditions as imposed by Prezzee, as provider of the prize, including period of validity and expiry, or any booking or redemption time frames.
If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Library reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to law.

No alternative prize (including cash) will be considered or provided.

The prize will be forfeited if not taken ‘as is’ and no payment or compensation will be made in lieu.
The Library may ask you to provide proof of your age, identity and residency, and to sign any required documentation including release forms as a condition of claiming the prize.

You are responsible for all expenses and taxes connected to your participation in the promotion and not included in the Prize.

If any of these terms and conditions are deemed illegal or unenforceable, then the removal of any illegal or unenforceable part will not affect the remaining terms and conditions.

Other terms

The Library and Study Melbourne and agencies or companies associated with this promotion are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with a prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

The Library and Study Melbourne and their associated agencies and companies are not liable for (including any costs) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, network failures, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and any cause beyond the control of the Library, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions generally affects your rights under Australian consumer law (as contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and equivalent State and Territory fair trading legislation) regarding consumer guarantees to the extent that such consumer guarantees cannot be excluded by law.

Other than these consumer guarantees State Library Victoria makes no warranties about any prizes offered as a part of the promotion, including warranties as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of such prizes.

You agree to indemnify the Library against all liabilities suffered or sustained by the Library arising from any claim by a third party that your entry infringes the rights (including intellectual property rights) of any third party.

Severability

Any provision (or part thereof) of these Terms and Conditions that is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction is ineffective as to that jurisdiction to the extent of the prohibition or unenforceability. That does not invalidate the remaining provisions (or parts thereof) of these Terms and Conditions nor affect the validity or enforceability of that provision (or part thereof) in any other jurisdiction.

Entire agreement

These Terms and Conditions contain the entire agreement between you and the Library with respect to the promotion. They set out the only conduct that you have relied on and supersede all earlier conduct and prior agreements and understandings between you and the Library in connection with the promotion.
