The digital hub for the Future Founders Festival is open. This is where the entire festival is being hosted.
Below is some information about how to use the digital hub to help you make the most of the festival.
Please note all festival events are in the AEST time zone. Visit this website to check the event times in your relevant time zone.
1. How to log into the digital hub.
a) You can access the digital hub via this link.
b) Enter your email address and click “SEND OTP”.
This needs to be the same email address that you registered for the ticket with.
c) You will receive an email including a One-Time-Password (OTP). The code will be a combination of 4 numbers.
d) Enter the One-Time-Passcode from the email into the digital hub screen and click ‘SUBMIT’
e) You should now find yourself in the digital hub.
f) You can use the hamburger menu at the top to find your way around including the ‘Agenda’ – listing all festival sessions.
g) Watch our welcome video to understand more about Future Founders and join the conversation to chat with other festival guests.
2. How to create your own festival Agenda
a) Using the hamburger menu within the digital hub you can access the ‘Agenda‘ page.
b) Here you will see a list of the scheduled events across the two days of the festival.
c) You can click the calendar icon at the right of each session to add it to your own Agenda, which will be confirmed with a tick.
Doing this creates a personalised view of your festival schedule – to keep you on track.
d) To access your personalised agenda click the “My Agenda” tab at the top of the page.

3. How to create your festival profile
Creating a basic profile in the digital hub is quick and easy, and means you can more take full advantage of the networking hub, raise questions to speakers in live sessions and be part of the festival conversation.
a) Use the hamburger menu to select your name.
b) Click ‘Edit profile‘ which will take you to a page with all the profile fields and profile photo section.
c) Upload a photo and edit your profile details in the available fields.
d) When you are finished click ‘Save‘ and your profile is ready to go!
4. How to use the Virtual Photo Booth
Create a festival photo using the virtual photo booth for fun.
You can play around with the background and sticker options including the famous State Library Victoria Dome, one of the most popular selfie destinations in Melbourne CBD!
a) Use the hamburger menu at the top of the digital hub to navigate to the ‘Lobby‘.
b) Scroll down the page to where you see the photo booth photos and click “Launch now“.
c) You will need to read and accept the disclaimer before you continue to the booth.
d) Add a photograph of yourself to the photo booth.
You can choose if you want to upload a photo or use your web camera to take a new picture.
e) You will see a preview of the photo you have added. If you are happy with it click “Use Photo“.
f) You will then be given options to add a background, a frame and stickers. Once you have made your choices click “Complete“. Your image will appear on the virtual photo booth display as soon as it has been approved by the festival team.
5. How to use the Networking hub.
This festival is about learning, getting inspired and having fun, but it’s also a great opportunity to meet new people and expand your networks.
The networking hub allows you to search, connect with and chat to other people attending the festival.
a) Use the hamburger menu to navigate to the Networking hub.
b) Follow the prompts on screen to allow your festival profile to be visible in the Networking hub, and to search and connect with other festival attendees.
6. How to prepare for the Lunchtime cooking spot with Tasia and Gracia Seger.
Festival Day 2, Friday 16 July, 12.10pm -12.40pm
Tasia and Gracia Seger, owners of Makan restaurant in Melbourne will be cooking up a storm with us on Day 2 of the festival. Tasia and Gracia are talented chefs and business founders, as well as being 2016 winners of My Kitchen Rules. Not only will they show us how to cook Ketoprak: Indonesian Vermicelli tofu salad with spicy peanut dressing, they will also share their story of starting their own restaurant and managing the challenges Covid-19 has presented.
